Support Programs

Freeride, Freestyle, and Web-based

At Rossignol, we have built out a FEEDER TEAM (JR Support program) for every athlete; freeride, freestyle and web based. Backcountry based big mountain competitors, park bound jibbers, or socially driven athletes all have the ability to apply for support opportunities with Rossignol’s FEEDER TEAM. Achieve results on the FEEDER TEAM and a spot on the National, or even International Team could be in your future. Many of our top athletes today have come through this very program.

The goal of our program is to provide every athlete with a consistent level of support and a clear understanding of what it takes to move up the ranks. Support is all about exposure, the more and better quality exposure you can provide, the higher level of support you can apply for. Exposure can come in many different ways, standing on top of a podium, viral edits, quality posts on social sites… they all add up to great exposure for you, and in turn, Rossignol.

We have 3 main programs on our FEEDER TEAM, below are highlights of each:

FREESKI FEEDER TEAM

Are you a USASA, USSA, or AFP competitor? Have you aspired to get to the top of the podium at local, regional or national Park, Pipe, and Big Air events? Then this is the program for you. Support is awarded depending on national ranking, so have your ranking ready to send to our Team Manager, as this will be the basis for what level of support you can apply for.

Ranking Requirements: USASA, USSA, or AFP National Ranking

Support has been broken into Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels (Limited spots for Silver, Gold and Platinum). The more qualified the applicant, the better the level of support, and the deeper the discount on product. The guidelines below explain the results you must achieve in order to obtain a certain level of support. The designated criteria must be met before submission. Rossignol Representatives reserve the right to amend any criteria and or guidelines at their discretion. Athletes accepted into the program must compete and train exclusively on Rossignol skis, boots, and bindings. All Rossignol athletes are expected to represent the brand and the sport of skiing in a positive and professional manner.

Product availability is not guaranteed and will be on a first come, first serve basis. Now get out there and get on the podium!

FREERIDE FEEDER TEAM

Rossignol has had huge success over the years on the Freeride World Tour, much of that is based off of the young guns joining this program. Competing on the IFSA, FWQ or FWT? Then this program is built out for you, with the ability to receive amazing hard charging big mountain or backcountry gear.

Ranking Requirements: IFSA, FWQ, or FWT Ranking

WEB BASED FEEDER TEAM

We recognize that being a social media driven skier is one of the new ways to apply for support, but don’t think that just having followers and likes will get you on this team. Quality skiing still comes first, then the ability to gain exposure on the web through INSTAGRAM, YOUTUBE, and sites like newschoolers.com and tetongravity.com are key. If you have a huge social following, then the WEB BASED FEEDER TEAM will be your route to Rossignol support.

Web Requirements: Social Following, links to every web edit from last year.

Now that you know our programs, what should you do? Well, assemble a resumé for us and let us know what program you fit in best with. Along with the requirements above, please acknowledge that we also need to know the following personal requirements to apply for support from Rossignol:

  • Avid skier, must be on snow 3-4 days a week throughout the season
  • Must be able to keep the Team at Rossignol informed though out the season
  • Must be willing to be a positive promoter of the Rossignol brand. We need people with good attitudes which are willing to be knowledgeable about Rossignol and promote the brand.
  • Must be able to help at a regional event if called upon.
  • Be able to provide product and marketing feedback to the team at Rossignol.
  • Include all social media presence. Instagram, Facebook, and Video links along with any forums you might be active in.

Thank you for applying for THE FEEDER TEAM, we look forward to working with you in the future!
